3 Indianapolis Locations for Your Next Couples Photoshoot
Today, I’m sharing 3 location ideas in Indy for your next couples photoshoot that you’re sure to love. These locations are perfect for images celebrating your next anniversary, or make the perfect backdrop for engagement photos. Each location has it’s own style and vibe which can be special for each unique couple.
3 Indy Locations for Your Couples Photoshoot or Engagement Session
Monument Circle
I absolutely love the elegant and timeless look of the Soldiers & Sailors Monument in downtown Indianapolis. This location is great for all seasons. Last year, I did an engagement session here on the first snow day of the season and it was stunning. It’s also a short walk from the Indiana Statehouse which is another great spot nearby with the most gorgeous doors along the building.
White River State Park
One of my favorite underrated photoshoot locations is White River State Park, specifically during the spring when the Japanese Cherry Blossom trees are in full bloom (typically during late March or early April). These trees are only in bloom for 1 to 2 weeks depending on the weather and only bloom once per year. So, if you’re interested in a session with the cherry blossoms, definitely don’t put off booking a session!
Your Home or Other Sentimental Location
Believe it or not, your home is a great option for photos, because it is uniquely yours! There are so many in home session possibilities such as a baking session in the kitchen, photos with pets, or you and your loved one snuggled up on the couch. If there are other places that are sentimental to you such as a first date location, a place where a favorite memory took place, the place where you first met, these are all also great ideas and add the perfect sentimental touch to your session.
